The Bank of America, also known of BoA, in our opinion, has no ethics, no shame and now no responsibility to you or your credit cards. Their terms and conditions change when you need them. The BoA does not honor agreement of the accounts that they purchased from MBNA. Beware Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

We had a small cash advance that was "guaranteed" at just 9.9 % when the card was vended by MBNA.  See what BoA did with the account after they bought MBNA. 

This is our opinion of Credit Card Pricing. especially to the Bank of America.  Our opinion applies to all banks, and all credit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and especially the Bank of America, also known as BoA.  Our Experience has been similar with all 4 of the credit card processors The personal experience is based on accounts that Bank of America 'purchased' from MBNA.  We had 2 accounts with MBNA, we canceled one when MBNA their rates to over 20%. Two years after we cancelled the one account, Bank of America purchased MBNA.  In September 2007, the Bank of America Sent us notice that our credit card rates for the cancelled account were rising to as follows

Bank of America Credit Card Rate Changes Effective January 19, 2008.  The banks initial should just be changed to BBoA - Beware the Bank of America.
